Curious by nature. Explorer by choice. Builder by habit.

I've never been good at leaving a black box alone. If something works, I want to know why, and the fastest way I've found to find out is to build my own.

That habit followed me from Manipal to San Francisco State and into every job since. It taught me the thing that still drives me: you don't really understand something until you've built it, broken it, and built it again. Reading tells you what. Building tells you why.

For years the slowest part of building wasn't the idea. It was everything before it: the setup, the boilerplate, the hours before the first real line. That drag killed more of my ideas than bad ideas ever did.

AI changed that. Now an idea can be running the same evening, and I love that speed for what it gives back: more experiments, more lessons, more things I get to understand. I've also learned to drop ideas just as fast. If something turns out to be overkill, I keep the lesson and move on.

But speed taught me its own lesson: the faster you ship, the more trust matters. So I've become obsessed with the other half. Specs before code, tests before trust, and knowing exactly why something works before it goes live. Fast is easy now. Fast and right is the craft I'm chasing.

When I close the laptop, the same curiosity goes outside.

I'm the person who's out exploring all day and back only to sleep: long hikes, road trips, and the frame you only get because you kept walking. Every photo is a story I wanted to keep. I edit in Lightroom and Photoshop, and wondering how that editing works behind the scenes is exactly why I once wrote my own image filters.
